Hello Thyroid Family,
I have been on Armour (Natural Desiccated Thyroid medication) for around two weeks now and still feel well in terms of my overall health. So far so good with that. I have unfortunately caught a cold though (I do seem to in summer for some reason) so I'm revisiting some of my old blogs regarding getting over illness quicker and how we can be more prone to catching things.
We have sent out a draft copy of You, Me and Hypothyroidism to those of you who offered to help provide feedback, which is really exciting. We can't wait to share this book with the rest of you. Feedback so far has been hugely positive which reassures us that it can help more relationships to withstand the third wheel of thyroid disease.
And lastly, thank you so much to those who have already voted for me in the WEGO Health Awards. If you haven't yet, you still have a week or so to help us get noticed. Please consider voting so we can get the spotlight shone on thyroid conditions. Instructions on how to do that are included here.
